Trips, planned together.

One place for a small group to save ideas from anywhere, make the days, keep the money straight, and know what's next once you're on the road.

On iPhone, and on the web in any browser. The iPhone app works offline.

ndemo on iPhone, Today on the Italy trip: Morning, Francesco. Day 8 of 20, and now Bagno Vignoni, the hot pool.
What it does

Four tabs and a +, one trip.

Everything the group knows about the trip, in the order you need it: what's next, the days, the money, and the ideas still waiting for a day.

  1. Today

The next stop, and tonight's bed.

On the road, Today holds one thing at a time: where you're going next, with a way to get there. Tonight's bed sits below it, with the address and the booking code kept on the phone. Before you leave, it counts the days down.

    • Tick it, we're done
    • Not yet, take me there
Today on day 8 of 20 of the Italy trip: Morning, Francesco. Now, until 11:00, Bagno Vignoni, the hot pool, with Tick it, we're done, Swap it, Skip it and Move to tomorrow.
  2. Plan

The days, made from what you saved.

Everything you saved that isn't on a day yet goes onto one with a single tap, three stops a day at most. Don't like it? Make it again. Every night gets its bed, and a trip of several legs draws as a road.

    • Make the days
    • Keep these days
Plan on the Italy trip: today, day 8, with Bagno Vignoni, a pecorino dairy in Pienza and Osteria di Passignano; day 9 with the Chianti road, the Uffizi and Trattoria Sostanza.
  3. Money

Who owes whom, to the cent.

Every cost says who paid and how it splits, each in its own currency at that day's rate. Balances between households stay current; settle up whenever you like, or open a kitty the group pays into.

    • Settle up
    • Open a kitty
Money on the Italy trip: Tomás owes you €2,389.09, with Settle up with Tomás, €12,232 paid so far and a kitty with 3 of 5 shares paid.
  4. Ideas

    Ideas wait, gathered by area.

Places saved and not on a day yet, from every trip on your phone, grouped by where they are. Two ideas close together can become a trip of their own.

    • The whole map
    • Everywhere
Ideas on the map: Florence & Tuscany, 11 ideas that fit Thu 15 to Sun 18, among them Val d'Orcia, San Gimignano and the Vasari Corridor.
  5. And the +

    One door for everything.

Paste a link, a few lines from the chat, a photo or a booking confirmation. The places in it are found on the map and land in the trip. The first save makes the trip: there is no form to fill in.

    • Pin it here
    • Save to this trip
Capture: Trattoria Mario, Florence, pasted and found on the map at Via Rosina 2 R, with Save to Italy end to end.
And the rest

The small things that keep a group calm.

Ask the group

Between two of you, one question. With three or more, a round with a deadline that closes when everyone has answered.

Papers stay on your phone

Passports and tickets, photographed and kept behind Face ID. Never on the server, never in a backup.

In the books, then again

A finished trip stays readable for ever, with its total. Plan it again next year, with the same places and the same days.

How it works

Nobody is in charge, and nothing lies.

Questions

What people ask first.

What is ndemo?

ndemo is a shared trip planner, currently in preview on iPhone. A small group saves ideas, makes a day-by-day plan, splits the costs and decides what's still open in one place, and everyone on the trip can change everything.

Is ndemo on the App Store?

Not yet. ndemo is in preview on iPhone: leave your email below and the invitation comes to it. On the web, ndemo runs in any browser at app.getndemo.com.

Which devices does ndemo run on?

The app is on iPhone, on iOS 17 or later. The web version runs in any browser at app.getndemo.com. Anyone can also read a trip through a read-only link without installing anything.

Does ndemo work offline?

Yes, in the iPhone app: everything works without a connection and syncs the moment one returns. The web version needs a connection. A trip is complete on one phone, with no account, until you want others in.

Do I need an account?

Not to plan alone. An account is what lets other people in: sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and a six-digit code. There is no password.

How does the group get in?

Invite by email and the person opens the link on their phone. Someone without the app can be a guest by name, so the costs split correctly, and can take over that seat later.

How does ndemo split costs?

Every cost records who paid and how it splits; balances between households are always current. Settling up records a repayment and never changes the trip total.
